ANAHEIM, Calif., May 15 (UPI) -- Ervin Santana baffled the Athletics over 7 2/3 innings and Albert Pujols supplied two RBI Tuesday in the Los Angeles Angels' 4-0 win over Oakland.

Scott Downs and Ernesto Frieri completed the five-hit shutout, which gave the Angels a split in their two-game home series.

Pujols went 3-for-4 with a pair of run-producing singles while Mike Trout added three hits -- including a solo homer -- and scored three times for the Angels, who finished with 12 hits.

A's starter Bartolo Colon (3-4) absorbed the loss after giving up four runs on 12 hits in a 6 2/3-inning effort.
