BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., May 13 (UPI) -- Sebastian Grazzini and Dominic Oduro each netted second-half goals Saturday, sparking Chicago to a 2-1 decision over shorthanded Sporting Kansas City.
Kansas City took a 1-0 first-half lead on a goal by Bobby Convey, but after dominating the first 45 minutes, Sporting let mistakes cost them the victory in the late going.
Aurelien Collin's foul on Oduro in the penalty box resulted in Grazzini's equalizing score on a penalty kick in the 61st minute.
Only a minute later, Kansas City went down a man when Roger Espinoza was red-carded for elbowing Grazzini in the face, and Oduro took advantage in the 81st when he tapped in the go-ahead goal for Chicago (4-2-3).
Kansas City (7-3-0) dropped its third straight after starting the season with seven consecutive wins.
