HOUSTON, May 12 (UPI) -- Brad Davis scored the game's only goal in the 67th minute and Houston celebrated the opening of its new stadium with a 1-0 win over D.C. United.
On the play, Davis got a feed from Andre Hainault and rocketed a left-footed shot toward the top right corner that D.C. goalkeeper Bill Hamid got a hand on but couldn't stop, netting the first goal at BBVA Compass Stadium.
