MLB: New York Mets 9, Miami 3

MIAMI, May 12 (UPI) -- David Wright went 4-for-6 with a homer and three RBI Saturday, powering the New York Mets past Miami 9-3.

Wright's solo homer in the third put New York ahead for good at 2-1 and he added run-scoring hits in the first and ninth innings, sparking the Mets' 16-hit attack.

Daniel Murphy added three hits and an RBI, and Andres Torres chipped in with a two-run single for the Mets, who won for the sixth time in seven games.

R.A. Dickey (5-1) logged his fourth straight start without a loss despite surrendering nine hits over six innings. The knuckleballer yielded a pair of runs and walked one batter.

Marlins starter Ricky Nolasco (4-1) was saddled with his first loss of the season after being tagged for six runs on nine hits in a 4 2/3-inning effort.

Giancarlo Stanton and Gaby Sanchez each went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Miami.
