MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 7, Colorado 3

LOS ANGELES, May 12 (UPI) -- Solo homers by Mark Ellis, Andre Ethier and Juan Uribe Friday helped the Los Angeles Dodgers cruise past Colorado 7-3.

Los Angeles broke things open with a three-run fifth that gave the Dodgers a 5-0 lead on their way to their second straight win.

Ellis opened the scoring with his shot in the first, Ethier homered in the seventh and Uribe hit his in the eighth.

Mark Ellis delivered a key two-run double in the fifth and then scored on a single by Ethier.

Chris Capuano (5-0) remained unbeaten in seven starts, allowing a run on four hits over seven innings. Capuano struck out three without a walk.

Michael Cuddyer drove in two of Minnesota's runs with a homer in the seventh and a sacrifice fly in the ninth.

Jamie Moyer (1-3) suffered the loss. He struck out seven, but gave up five runs on seven hits over five innings.
