MLB: Boston 4, Cleveland 1

BOSTON, May 12 (UPI) -- Felix Doubront baffled the Cleveland Indians for six innings and the Boston bullpen shut them down the rest of the way in a 4-1 Red Sox victory Saturday.

Doubront (3-1) scattered all three of the Indians' hits and two walks while striking out five for the Red Sox, who won their second straight against the American League Central leaders.

Andrew Miller and Vicente Padilla each pitched a scoreless inning of relief and Alfredo Aceves collected his seventh save with a 1-2-3 ninth to nail down Boston's victory.

Zach McAllister (1-1) struck out eight over seven innings without a walk, but also gave up four runs on eight hits for the Tribe.

Jason Kipnis drove in Cleveland's only run.
