MLB: Arizona 5, San Francisco 1

PHOENIX, May 12 (UPI) -- Miguel Montero doubled in the go-ahead score during a three-run fifth Friday that boosted the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 5-1 win over San Francisco.

The Diamondbacks snapped a five-game losing streak, getting a three-hit performance over seven innings by Patrick Corbin.

Corbin (2-1) allowed only a solo homer by Melky Cabrera in the first inning. He struck out four and did not walk a batter.

Arizona tied it in the fifth on an RBI single by Willie Bloomquist and then took the lead in the fifth against starter Madison Bumgarner (5-2).

Bloomquist opened the fifth with a double and scored on Montero's two-out double to left. Paul Goldschmidt then hit his second homer of the year to give Arizona a 4-1 lead.

A.J. Pollock added a solo shot in the sixth.
