PHILADELPHIA, May 9 (UPI) -- The Philadelphia Phillies activated pitcher Cliff Lee from the 15-day disabled list and said he would start Wednesday night against the New York Mets.

The 33-year-old left-hander went on the DL April 21 with a left oblique strain, just days after he went 10 innings against San Francisco.
