MLB: Texas 14, Baltimore 3

BALTIMORE, May 7 (UPI) -- Brandon Snyder homered and drove in six runs Monday, keying a 19-hit attack for Texas in the Rangers' 14-3 rout of Baltimore.

Snyder collected two-run singles in the second and ninth innings and added a two-run homer in the sixth as the Rangers waltzed to victory in the first of a four-game set at Camden Yards.

Michael Young belted a two-run shot to go with a sacrifice fly RBI while Josh Hamilton added a two-run clout for Texas, which got three hits apiece from Elvis Andrus and Nelson Cruz.

Matt Harrison (4-2) earned the victory, yielding three runs on six hits over seven innings.

Orioles starter Brian Matusz (1-4) was pounded for 10 hits over five innings, allowing seven runs.

Robert Andino and Wilson Betemit homered for Baltimore, which saw its five-game winning streak snapped.
