BOSTON, May 5 (UPI) -- Chris Davis and Mark Reynolds drove in runs in the 13th inning Friday to bring the Baltimore Orioles their third straight win -- 6-4 over Boston.
The Orioles and Red Sox had been locked in a 4-4 tie since the seventh inning. Baltimore got to Franklin Morales (0-1) and Scott Atchison, Boston's sixth and seventh pitchers of the night.
Matt Wieters singled with one away off Morales in the 13th and Wilson Betemit drew a walk on a 3-2 pitch.
Davis then singled home Wieters and, after Atchison relieved Morales, Reynolds lifted a sacrifice fly that brought in Betemit.
The Red Sox have lost three in a row.
Troy Patton (1-0) got the win, throwing one-hit ball during the 11th and 12th innings. Jim Johnson struck out one in a perfect bottom of the 13th for his eighth save.
