MONTREAL, April 28 (UPI) -- Bernardo Corradi broke a scoreless tie with a penalty kick in the 76th minute Saturday and the Montreal Impact went on to a 2-0 victory over Portland.
The Timbers' Steven Smith was called for a handball inside his own penalty area, setting up a chance for Corradi, who left Portland's Joe Bendik with no chance to stop a shot fired high and down the middle.
