MLB: Kansas City at Minnesota, ppd., rain

MINNEAPOLIS, April 28 (UPI) -- The Minnesota Twins dodged a possible seventh consecutive loss Saturday when rain in the Twin Cities washed out their day game against the Kansas City Royals.

The game will be moved to June 30 and will be part of a day-night doubleheader.

Kansas City won the opener of the series Friday 7-6 and had planned to start Bruce Chen Saturday against Minnesota's Jason Marquis.
