DETROIT, April 26 (UPI) -- Chone Figgins had an RBI double in the seventh inning Thursday that boosted the Seattle Mariners to a 5-4 win over the Detroit Tigers.

Brandon League allowed two hits in the ninth but still was credited with his seventh save.

Seattle went up 3-0 in the first on a three-run home run by Justin Smoak and made it 4-0 in the fourth on Miguel Olivo's first home run of the season. Smoak's home run was his third this season.

Detroit's Ryan Raburn had an RBI single in the fifth and Boesch contributed a run-scoring single ahead of a two-run homer from Miguel Cabrera -- his sixth of the season -- that tied the score 4-4 in the sixth.
