MLB: Colorado at Pittsburgh, ppd., weather

PITTSBURGH, April 23 (UPI) -- Monday's game between the Colorado Rockies and the Pittsburgh Pirates was postponed because of poor weather.

Temperatures Monday afternoon in the Pittsburgh area were in the mid 30s Fahrenheit with light rain. Those conditions were predicted to continue through the night.

Officials said the game will be made up Wednesday as part of a doubleheader beginning at 12:35 p.m. EDT. The teams had been scheduled to wrap up their three-game series Wednesday afternoon. Tuesday's game remains scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m.
