ANAHEIM, Calif., April 22 (UPI) -- Jered Weaver tossed a complete-game victory and Bobby Abreu drove in a pair of runs Saturday in the Los Angeles Angels' 6-3 win over Baltimore.
Weaver (3-0) stayed perfect on the season, yielding three runs in a nine-inning effort, issuing no walks and striking out five.
Abreu's two-run single highlighted a big fifth inning in which Mark Trumbo, Erick Aybar and Kendrys Morales also supplied run-scoring hits.
The five-run uprising erased a 2-0 deficit and helped the Angels take back-to-back wins for the first time this season, clinching their three-game series with the Orioles.
Jake Arrieta (1-1) was tagged for five runs on six hits over 4 1/3 frames for Baltimore.
Matt Wieters hit a two-run homer and finished the three RBI for Baltimore.
