SACRAMENTO, April 21 (UPI) -- A 29-point performance by Kevin Durant Friday paced the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 103-92 win over Sacramento.
The Thunder stayed within a half game of San Antonio for the best record in the Western Conference. The Spurs beat the Los Angeles Lakers Friday.
Oklahoma City has a road game remaining against the Lakers Sunday before closing out its season at home against Sacramento and Denver. San Antonio's remaining games will be played at home against Cleveland and Portland and on the road against Phoenix and Golden State.
Durant hit 9-of-15 shots and pulled down 14 rebounds. James Harden added 20 points and Russell Westbrook contributed 18. The Thunder hit 53 percent of their shots from the field.
DeMarcus Cousins led Sacramento with 18 points.
