NBA: Indiana 111, Minnesota 88

INDIANAPOLIS, April 16 (UPI) -- David West led a balanced scoring attack with 22 points Monday and the playoff-bound Indiana Pacers routed Minnesota 111-88.

West grabbed 10 rebounds for Indiana, which jumped off to a 32-7 lead in the first period and never looked backed, cruising to its fifth straight victory.

Danny Granger scored 19 points for the Pacers, who got 18 points from Paul George, and 12 points and 11 rebounds from Roy Hibbert.

Indiana strengthened its grip on homecourt advantage in the post-season with the Eastern Conference's third seed.

J.J. Barea had 14 points and nine assists for Minnesota, which stumbled to its 10th straight loss.

Derrick Williams and Michael Beasley put in 13 points each for the Timberwolves.
