MLB: San Diego 7, Colorado 1

DENVER, April 16 (UPI) -- Cory Luebke tossed seven innings of one-run ball and Nick Hundley drove in three runs Monday, sending the San Diego Padres to a 7-1 win over Colorado.

Luebke (1-1) surrendered six hits, issued only one walk and struck out four -- while yielding three earned runs or fewer for a 10th straight road start.

Hundley provided an RBI double and a pair of run-scoring singles for the Padres, who notched only their third victory of the season and broke a four-game skid. Cameron Maybin contributed a pair of RBI for the Padres.

Jeremy Guthrie (1-1) was tagged for six runs on nine hits over seven frames for the Rockies, who dropped the opener of a three-game set.
