MLS: New York 4, Columbus 1

COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 7 (UPI) -- Thierry Henry scored twice and added an assist while Kenny Cooper also had two goals Saturday in New York Red Bulls' 4-1 road rout of Columbus.

Cooper found the net only 3 minutes into the contest off an assist from Henry and added another marker in the 13th, when he headed a deflected shot by Dane Richards into the corner of the net.

Henry gave the Red Bulls a 3-0 lead in the in the 40th, notching his sixth of the year after finding himself unmarked at the left of the net.

New York (3-2-0) also got another tally from Henry in the final minute and has scored 14 goals in five games to lead the MLS.

Chad Marshall scored for Columbus (2-2-0).
