NHL: Anaheim 3, Edmonton 2 (OT)

EDMONTON, Alberta, April 6 (UPI) -- Ryan Getzlaf scored on a backhander 1:12 into overtime Thursday, giving the Anaheim Ducks a 3-2 win over Edmonton.

The Ducks got goals 36 seconds apart in the first period from Andrew Cogliano and Bobby Ryan and did not score again until Getzlaf delivered his 11th of the season.

Anaheim snapped a three-game losing streak, with Jeff Deslauriers making 24 saves against his former team.

Deslauriers appeared in his fourth game for the Ducks after playing in Edmonton for two seasons.

Calgary's Jordan Eberle forced overtime with his third-period goal that came with 6:12 to go in regulation.

Devan Dubnyk stopped 14 shots in the loss.
