MILWAUKEE, April 4 (UPI) -- A 30-point effort from Monta Ellis pushed Milwaukee to a big lead Wednesday and the Bucks went on to down Cleveland 107-98.
It was the seventh time in a row Milwaukee has downed the Cavaliers and the victory moved the Bucks within a game of idle New York for the final post-season spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks have won four out of five overall and wrapped up the victory Wednesday by opening an 18-point lead early in the fourth period. Cleveland has lost nine straight.
Ellis had eight assists and five rebounds while Brandon Jennings added 19 points. The Bucks hit 57 percent from the field.
Anthony Parker led the Cavaliers with 27 points. Cleveland played without Kyrie Irving, who will miss at least a week with a sprained right shoulder.
