NBA: Phoenix 92, New Orleans 75

PHOENIX, April 1 (UPI) -- Jared Dudley netted 21 points Sunday and the Phoenix Suns stayed within striking distance in the Western Conference with a 92-75 win over New Orleans.

Dudley also hauled down seven rebounds.

Channing Frye added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Suns, who pulled 1 1/2 games behind Houston for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West with the victory.

The Rockets fell in overtime to Indiana Sunday.

Shannon Brown provided 16 points and Steve Nash distributed 14 assists for Phoenix.

Marco Belinelli and Jason Smith scored 14 points apiece for the Hornets.
