FRISCO, Texas, March 30 (UPI) -- Maicon Santos had two goals and an assist against his former team Friday, bringing D.C. United a 4-1 victory over FC Dallas.
United dominated the second half after the two teams played to a 1-1 draw at the intermission.
Santos assisted on a goal by Nick DeLeon in the 60th minute to put United in front for good and Danny Cruz made it 3-1 6 minutes later.
Santos finished the scoring in the 73rd minute. He had produced United's first goal with a 25-yard blast in the first half, after which Blas Perez produced the only Dallas score.
It was the first win of the season for United, which had earned just one point in its first three matches. Dallas fell to 1-2-1.
