Top-ranked Tseng extends Kia lead

CARLSBAD, Calif., March 24 (UPI) -- Top-ranked Yani Tseng carded a 3-under-par 68 Saturday, extending her lead to three strokes after three rounds of the Kia Classic.

The world No. 1 didn't register a bogey on the Legends Course at La Costa Resort & Spa and finished 54 holes at 12-under-par 204.

Leading by two strokes after two rounds, she ended Saturday's play three better than Jiyai Shin, who posted a 4-under 68.

Sharing third place two shots further back at minus-7 were Sun Young Yoo (67) and Caroline Hedwall (70).
