Wondolowski got his second of the game 12 minutes later when he slotted the ball into the empty net following a pass from midfielder Rafael Baca.

The Earthquakes improved to 2-1-0 with the win.

Frei will be out of action for up 10 weeks after breaking his left leg during practice Friday for Toronto (0-2-0).
