NHL: Boston 8, Toronto 0

BOSTON, March 19 (UPI) -- Benoit Pouliot notched two goals and an assist and Tim Thomas recorded a 13-save shutout Monday in the Boston Bruins' 8-0 pasting of Toronto.

Brian Rolston added a goal and three assists for the Bruins, who won a second straight following a four-game losing streak and completed a six-game season's sweep of the Maple Leafs.

Boston's offensive onslaught also included tallies from Chris Kelly, Gregory Campbell, Brad Marchand, Zdeno Chara and Tyler Seguin.

Boston extended its Northeast Division lead over idle Ottawa to three points.

Starting Leafs goaltender James Reimer was pulled in the first period after yielding four goals on nine shots. Jonas Gustavsson made 11 saves the rest of the way.
