NBA: Utah 111, Minnesota 105 (OT)

SALT LAKE CITY, March 16 (UPI) -- Gordon Hayward gave Utah the lead with 56 seconds left in overtime Thursday and the Jazz scored the game's final eight points to defeat Minnesota 111-105.

Utah won in overtime for the first time in three tries this season after letting a 13-point lead get away late in the fourth period.

Minnesota's Nikola Pekovic forced the extra period by scoring on a tip-in with a second remaining and the Timberwolves took a two-point lead with less than 2 minutes left in the overtime.

Minnesota then went scoreless the rest of the way. Al Jefferson tied it for the Jazz with 1:19 left and Hayward's dunk gave Utah a 107-105 lead.

Paul Millsap added a jumper for the Jazz and Hayward tacked on two free throws with 13 seconds to play.

Hayward scored 26 points and Devin Harris had 18 for the Jazz. Minnesota got 25 points and 16 rebounds from Kevin Love.
