DENVER, March 16 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant paced a big third quarter Thursday that sent the Oklahoma City Thunder sailing to a 103-90 victory over Denver.
The Thunder bounced back from a rare setback -- a one-point home loss to Houston Tuesday -- to defeat Denver for the fourth straight time.
Durant scored 24 points and Russell Westbrook added 23. The last time Oklahoma City faced Denver, Durant and Westbrook combined to score 91 points.
Denver had a one-point halftime lead, but the Thunder outscored the Nuggets in the third period 28-14.
Andre Miller led Denver with 17 bench points and the Nuggets slipped to 3-3 on their nine-game homestand.
Denver announced earlier in the day the team had traded Nene to Washington in a three-team deal that also involved the Los Angeles Clippers.
