NBA: Dallas 107, Washington 98

DALLAS, March 14 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Terry combined for 51 points Tuesday and the Dallas Mavericks snapped a three-game skid with a 107-98 win over Washington.

Nowitzki netted 27 points and Terry came off the bench to pump in 24 for Dallas, which all but put the game away at the end of the third period following a Wizards surge.

Rodrigue Beaubois scored 19 points, Vince Carter added 14 and Shawn Marion chipped in with 10 points and 13 rebound for the Mavs.

Trevor Booker had 20 points and 12 rebounds, and John Wall had 18 points and 10 assists for the Wizards, who have lost three straight.
