Hillis, an Arkansas product, had a career-best season in 2010 for Cleveland under current Chiefs offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, rushing for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns on 270 carries.

He also grabbed 61 passes for 477 yards and two TDs, all career-highs.

But last season the 26-year-old regressed, gaining only 587 yards on 161 carries with 3 TDs.

Hillis has amassed 2,161 yards and 20 scores on 512 carries, with 101 receptions for 805 yards and three touchdowns in four seasons with Denver and Cleveland.
