NBA: Boston 94, Los Angeles Clippers 85

LOS ANGELES, March 13 (UPI) -- Paul Pierce scored 25 points and Kevin Garnett added 21 Monday in the Boston Celtics' 94-85 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Pierce sank some key baskets in the late going and Garnett grabbed eight rebounds for the Celtics.

Ray Allen contributed 15 points and Rajon Rondo finished with 12 points and 10 assists as Boston shook off a Sunday loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Clippers -- losers of four of the their last five games -- were led by Blake Griffin's 24 points and nine rebounds.

Mo Williams added 21 points.
