NHL: Colorado 3, Anaheim 2 (OT)

DENVER, March 12 (UPI) -- Gabriel Landeskog's slap shot 1:52 into overtime Monday handed the Colorado Avalanche a 3-2 victory over Anaheim.

After Anaheim failed to clear the puck out of its own zone at the right point, Matt Hunwick found Landeskog with a short pass and the 19-year-old fired a high shot to the short side of Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller for the game-winner.

Teemu Selanne notched a goal for his 1,399th career point -- surpassing Jari Kurri for 19th on the all-time NHL scoring list -- and Francois Beauchemin also scored for the Ducks.

Hiller finished with 30 saves for Anaheim.
