NBA: New Orleans 95, Minnesota 89

MINNEAPOLIS, March 10 (UPI) -- Chris Kaman scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds Saturday to lead the New Orleans Hornets to a 95-89 win over Minnesota.

Kaman made 10-of-21 shots and helped the Hornets avoid going winless on the four-game road trip they concluded Saturday.

Jarrett Jack added 17 points for New Orleans and Greivis Vasquez came away with 12.

Kevin Love led Minnesota with 31 points and 16 rebounds. Nikola Pekovic had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who got 14 points and 10 assists from Luke Ridnour -- starting at point guard in place of Ricky Rubio, who is out for the season after tearing the ACL in his left knee Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
