VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 10 (UPI) -- Sebastien Le Toux scored 4 minutes into the game Saturday and the Vancouver Whitecaps went on to record a 2-0 win that spoiled Montreal's MLS debut.
Camilo Sanvezzo produced the second Vancouver goal in the 54th minute.

Montreal goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts had to make a save in the opening minute of the contest, but he could not keep Vancouver's second attempt out of the net.
Le Toux took a headed pass from Eric Hassli in the left portion of the box and fired a shot past Ricketts to quickly silence the home crowd.
Joe Cannon made five saves to record the shutout.
