MIAMI, March 6 (UPI) -- LeBron James made 9-of-11 shots from the field Tuesday and helped Miami break things open early in leading Miami to a 108-78 romp over New Jersey.

James scored 21 points and sat out much of the second half while the Heat ended a two-game skid.

Miami held New Jersey without a point for the final 2:55 of the first period and the opening 2:13 of the second.

That gave Miami a 22-point lead, and the Heat coasted from there while shooting 58 percent from the field. Miami made 10-of-17 from 3-point range.

Chris Bosh scored 20 points for Miami and Dwyane Wade added 13. New Jersey got 16 from Deron Williams.
