Stevie Johnson agrees to terms with Bills

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y., March 5 (UPI) -- Wide receiver Stevie Johnson, who had more than 1,000 receiving yards each of the last two seasons, has agreed to a new deal with the Buffalo Bills.

Bills Chief Executive Officer Russ Brandon announced the agreement on his Twitter account Monday.

"Gr8 to have @SteveJohnson13 back!" Brandon tweeted.

The contract is thought to be for five years although terms are yet to be released.

Johnson was a seventh-round selection out of Kentucky in 2008 and had 12 catches in a total of 16 games his first two years. But he had 82 receptions for 1,073 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2010 and followed that with 76 catches for 1,004 yards and seven touchdowns last season.

Johnson was eligible to become a free agent this month.
