ATLANTA, March 5 (UPI) -- Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens owes $20,000 in overdue child-support payments to the Atlanta mother of one of his children, a court petition said.

The contempt-of-court petition, filed in Fulton County by Melanie Paige Smith, said Owens has not made $5,000 a month support payments for his daughter since November, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Smith says she wants Owens fined or jailed if he does not pay.

A judge ordered Owens to pay child support for the girl in March 2007.

Owens now plays for the Dallas-area Allen Wranglers in the Indoor Football League

A January GQ Magazine article said Owens pays $44,600 a month in child support for his four children, ages 5 to 12, the Journal-Constitution reported. Three of the four mothers have sued Owens for support.

Owens, 38, who helped the Philadelphia Eagles reach the 2005 Super Bowl, also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals did not renew his $2 million, one-year contract last year.

The Philadelphia Inquirer said Owens told GQ he had spent much of the $80 million he made during his NFL career.
