SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 29 (UPI) -- C.J. Miles scored 27 points off the bench for Utah Wednesday and the Jazz shut down Houston in the second half to crush the Rockets 104-83.
Utah halted a four-game losing streak despite Devin Harris leaving the contest in the third period with flu-like symptoms.
The Jazz led by five at intermission and then held the Rockets to 39 points during the second half. Miles made 10-of-16 from the field, hitting three of Utah's four 3-pointers.
Houston lost for the first time in five games. Luis Scola scored 18 points along with 10 rebounds. The Rockets will return home for two contests before playing seven of their next eight on the road.
