NBA: Boston 102, Milwaukee 96

BOSTON, Feb. 29 (UPI) -- A 25-point performance by Kevin Garnett Wednesday pushed Boston to a big lead and the Celtics fought off a Milwaukee rally to down the Bucks 102-96.

Boston won its second straight after losing five in a row.

The Celtics led by 15 with 8:05 to play, but Milwaukee put together a 13-point run and closed within 98-96 on Ersan Ilyssova's layup with 22 seconds left.

Garnett then made four free throws to close out the game.

Rajon Rondo delivered a triple double for Boston with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Garnett added 10 rebounds.

Ilyasova had 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Drew Gooden scored 23 points for the Bucks.
