NBA: Golden State 106, Phoenix 104

PHOENIX, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis hit a turnaround jumper with a second remaining Wednesday to give the Golden State Warriors a 106-104 victory over Phoenix.

The Warriors had lost 13 straight times in Phoenix dating to March 18, 2005.

Phoenix rallied from a 19-point deficit late in the second quarter only to suffer another tough loss. It was the third two-point setback for the Suns this month.

Ellis finished with 26 points while Dorell Wright had 23 points and David Lee 22. Golden State has won two in a row, but the Warriors lost point guard Stephen Curry to a tendon strain in his right foot.

Marcin Gortat scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the Suns. Phoenix has lost five of its last seven.
