TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Steven Stamkos boosted his NHL-leading goal total to 42 with a pair of markers and added an assist Tuesday in the Tampa Bay Lightning's 3-2 win over Anaheim.
The Lightning got a goal and a pair of helpers from Teddy Purcell as they continued a late push for the Eastern Conference playoffs with their third straight victory.

Mathieu Garon earned the victory, stopping 28 shots.
The Bolts won despite absorbing a blow when they learned team captain Vincent Lecavalier would be out indefinitely with a broken hand.
Saku Koivu and Bobby Ryan each notched a goal and an assist for the Ducks.
Jonas Hiller yielded three goals on 16 shots.
