NBA: Minnesota 102, Charlotte 90

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- A 30-point performance by Kevin Love Wednesday pushed Minnesota to a late surge that gave the Timberwolves a 102-90 win over Charlotte.

The Bobcats' club-record losing streak reached 16. The last of Charlotte's three victories this season came on Jan. 14 against Golden State. New York and Milwaukee have been the only other Charlotte victims this year.

Love also had 18 rebounds and scored 10 points during the third period. Minnesota produced a 10-0 run to end that quarter after Charlotte had tied it up with 3:09 to play. Minnesota led by as many as 19 in the fourth period.

Nikola Pekovic also had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Minnesota, which had lost four in a row. Kemba Walker scored 21 for Charlotte and Corey Maggette had 18.
