NBA: Denver 109, Phoenix 92

DENVER, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Aaron Afflalo scored 20 points to lead six Denver players in double figures and the Nuggets led wire-to-wire in a 109-92 win over Phoenix.

Tyson Lawson scored 17 for Denver, which won its second straight after a five-game losing streak. The Nuggets shot 51.3 percent from the field to 33.3 percent for the Suns.

Markieff Morris scored 21 to lead the Suns, who have dropped three of their last four contests.

Michael Redd ended the night with 20 points. The Suns hit 9-of-24 tries from 3-point range.

Denver grabbed a 33-21 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, outscoring the visitors 28-19 in the third quarter.
