BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Peter Senior caught Corey Pavin atop the leaderboard with a birdie on No. 18 Saturday, forging a two-way tie after two rounds of the Allianz Championship.
Senior's final birdie netted him a round of 4-under-par 68, which pulled him into a dead heat in first place with Pavin at 10-under-par 134 following 36 holes.
Each golfer is seeking his first Champions Tour victory.
One shot further back at minus-9 were Mark Calcavecchia, who rallied for a 4-under 68, and Bernhard Langer, who fired a 3-under 69 on The Old Course at Broken Sound Club.
Peter Jacobsen (7-under 65), J.L. Lewis (67), Joey Sindelar (69) and Michael Allen (67) were knotted for fifth at minus-8.
