NBA: Portland 117, Denver 97

PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Nicolas Batum came back from a two-game injury hiatus to score a career-high 33 points that propelled Portland to a 117-97 victory over Denver Saturday.

Batum showed few signs of the sore knee that had sidelined him as he helped the Trail Blazers improve to 11-1 at the Rose Garden this season.

LaMarcus Aldridge put in 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Marcus Camby collected 20 boards in the win.

Denver, which went down to its fourth loss in five games, got 20 points from Danilo Gallinari.

Kosta Koufos added a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Nuggets.
