NHL: Pittsburgh 2, Boston 1

BOSTON, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Marc-Andre Fleury finished with 28 saves Saturday and the Pittsburgh Penguins stayed hot with a 2-1 decision over Boston.

Fleury turned aside all 20 shots he saw during the first two periods and ended with 8-of-9 saves in the final frame for the Pens, who won for the ninth time in 10 games.

Evgeni Malkin scored in the first period and Matt Cooke notched the eventual game-winner less than 2 minutes into the third when he jammed home the rebound of a Dustin Jeffrey shot.

Tim Thomas stopped 26-of-28 shots and Joe Corvo scored for Boston, which lost a second straight home game for the first time since late October.
