NEW YORK, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony returned to the New York lineup Tuesday to score 25 points and help power the Knicks' 113-86 win over Detroit.
The superstar forward had missed two straight games with a variety of low-grade injuries but shook off the rust by going 9-of-14 from the field and handing out six assists.
Landry Fields drained four from beyond the arc en route to 18 points for the Knicks, who shot 60 percent and won for only second time in 11 games.
The Pistons dropped their sixth consecutive contest and 10th in 11 games.
Jonas Jerebko netted 15 points while Greg Monroe added 13 points and 12 rebounds for Detroit.
