Andrew Bynum added 21 points and seven rebounds for Los Angeles.

Kevin Love played well, collecting his 19th double-double of the season with 33 points and 13 boards, but it wasn't enough for the Timberwolves, who were seeking a third straight win that would have brought them to .500 for the season and their first win against the Lakers since March 6, 2007.

Michael Beasley provided 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Nikola Pekovic added 13 and nine for Minnesota.
