The team led by Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson scored six times in the first round of the elimination shootout, while Team Chara -- led by the Boston Bruins' Zdeno Chara -- managed just three goals.

In the second round of breakaways, Team Alfredsson's original scorers notched three markers while all three of Team Chara's shooters were stonewalled.

Team Alfredsson's Steven Stamkos then scored in the third and final round of the shootout, while John Tavares and Jason Pominville of Team Chara were stopped.

Earlier in the skills competition, Chara broke his own record in the hardest shot challenge, recording a 108.8 mph blast that easily bested his 2011 mark of 105.4 mph.
