MADRID, Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Jose Mourinho, coach of the Real Madrid soccer team, is expected to resign in June, Britain's Daily Telegraph reported Monday, quoting Spanish news outlets.

The Telegraph quoted reports as saying "Mourinho has had enough" and the coach "has tired of the press opposition, which is relentless."

Some media outlets in Spain speculated that a recent Real Madrid defeat by Barcelona and growing rifts between the coach and goalkeeper Iker Casillas and defender Sergio Ramos led to the decision.
